Your first visit to Kids & Family Dental is the perfect opportunity to get to know our team and allow us to assess your dental health. Here’s what you can expect during your initial consultation:
Comprehensive Exam:
We’ll begin with a thorough examination of your teeth, gums, and overall oral health. This includes checking for any signs of cavities, gum disease, or other dental concerns.
X-Rays (if needed):
Depending on your dental history and any issues you’re experiencing, we may take X-rays to get a better look at what’s happening below the surface.
Discussion & Treatment Plan:
After your exam, we’ll discuss our findings with you and recommend any necessary treatments. We’ll create a personalized treatment plan that addresses your specific needs, whether you require preventive care, restorative work, or cosmetic improvements.
Q&A:
We encourage you to ask any questions you have about your dental health, treatment options, or oral hygiene habits. Our team is here to help you feel confident and informed about your care.
Insurance & Payment Options
At Kids & Family Dental, we strive to make dental care accessible and affordable for all patients. We accept most major insurance plans and offer flexible payment options to fit your budget.

- Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP): We proudly accept patients who qualify for the CDCP, ensuring everyone in our community has access to essential dental care. Contact us to learn more about how we can assist with your CDCP needs.
- Payment Options: For those without insurance, or for services not fully covered by insurance, we offer flexible payment plans. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and can work with you to set up an installment plan if needed.

To save time during your first visit, we encourage all new patients to fill out our patient forms before arriving. These forms help us gather important information about your medical and dental history, so we can provide the best possible care from the start.
If you prefer, you can also complete these forms in our office before your appointment. Just arrive a few minutes early, and we’ll be happy to assist you with any questions you have while filling them out.
